Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Icarus Energy website (the “Site”) or requesting an assessment, quote, or installation services, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or our services.

Icarus Energy is a Southern California solar installer that also performs roof repairs as part of its install engagements. We provide free assessments, custom system design, permitting, installation, and ongoing performance monitoring for residential solar systems. Specific deliverables are described in your signed agreement, which controls in case of conflict with these Terms.

Our services are available to homeowners in Southern California. You must own the property where work will be performed, or have written authorization from the owner. Renters cannot enter into an installation agreement.

All quotes are estimates based on the information you provide and a site assessment. Final pricing is set in your signed installation agreement. We may revise a quote if we discover roof, electrical, or structural conditions that materially change the scope of work.

You agree to provide accurate information about your home, utility account, and energy usage. You agree to grant our crews reasonable access to your property during scheduled work. You are responsible for any HOA approvals required for solar or roofing work on your home.

We back our installation workmanship for the duration stated in your signed agreement. Manufacturer warranties for panels, inverters, and batteries are pass-through from the equipment manufacturers. The Site itself is provided on an “as-is” basis with no warranties of any kind.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, Icarus Energy is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or services. Our total liability for any claim related to the Site is limited to one hundred dollars ($100). Liability under an installation agreement is governed by that agreement.

All content on the Site, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Icarus Energy or its licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Our installations may involve third parties such as utility companies, financing partners, and equipment manufacturers. Their terms and policies apply separately to your interactions with them.

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California.
